Do you catch a bus to get to (or from) Otago Polytechnic?

The Otago Regional Council has advised that, as of Monday 13 February, buses will no longer travel down George St due to the street upgrade work.

This means that there won’t be any bus stops in operation along George St. So don't be concerned if your driver seems to be taking a wildly different route – they are just following a new diversion which has been put in place.

The closest stop to George St for both north and southbound buses will be on Great King St outside the hospital.

Buses will no longer divert past Otago University, but you can transfer to the northbound #63 bus at the new bus stop outside the hospital.

The new diversions will be in place until further notice.
