Professional Boundaries
This online module will support you to meet expected professional behaviours and boundaries in your work. Boundaries help to protect the integrity of professional working relationships and to keep people feeling safe and respected. This is particularly relevant for any kaimahi who work directly with ākonga, but also applies to all kaimahi in respecting the borders of professional relationships with colleagues.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this module you will be able to:
- Differentiate between behaviours that do or do not constitute professional practice and are examples of how to live the values and behaviours at Otago Polytechnic - Te Pūkenga.
- Apply professional standards of behaviour to your role.
- Apply appropriate approaches for responding to situations involving professional boundaries and conflicts of interest.
- Utilise resources for help and support.
