Birdhouse workshops part of exhibition

As part of our Ka Mura, Ka Muri – Walking Backward into the Future exhibition at Tūhura Otago Museum, our carpentry team have stepped up to help with an exciting school holiday project – a series of birdhouse workshops on Saturday, 22 April.

Using pre-cut recycled materials from Otago Polytechnic’s carpentry workshop, visitors can create a home for all those chirpy chaps in their gardens.

It’s also a great opportunity to take a walk through the Special Exhibition Gallery where our Ka Mura, Ka Muri – Walking Backward into the Future exhibit is running until 14 May.

Since opening in December, the exhibition has attracted around 25,000 visitors.
