Rachel Cash
I am a Learning and Teaching Specialist in Te Ama Ako | Learning and Teaching Development team, and have over 15 years experience in online development, learning technologies, project management and learning design. I am a subject matter expert in the Post Graduate Certificate in Learning Design (Level 8).
With a background in customer service, tourism and hospitality management, it's no surprise I really care about providing an excellent customer experience. Translated to learning and teaching, I put myself in the learner's shoes in order to provide a quality, consistent and flexible online learning experience. I enjoy problem-solving and finding solutions using tried and true and innovative learning technologies.
When not immersed in my work, I love camping, walking and biking with my whānau.
Rachel Cash was awarded a Bachelor in Information and Communication Technologies with Distinction in 2004 and is currently completing a Certificate in Bicultural Competency. Rachel was awarded a Staff Award for Excellence in Leadership in 2021.
