All short courses are offered at Mosgiel Library. You can start these anytime but will need to go to this venue to complete these courses.
All the courses are flexible, allowing you to study at your own pace, and will be run as group workshops as well as individual tuition sessions. This gives you a fantastic opportunity to learn in a positive and supportive environment.

Introduction to MYOB*

Mind Your Own Business (MYOB) is an accounting programme designed for small to medium businesses. This course will take you through getting started and building on the skills needed to use the programme effectively. You will need to have some knowledge of accounting or book-keeping. There are three options available for this course:
- Basic Accounting Intro Book: Learn the terminology and concepts to use the MYOB program.
- Intro to MYOB Book: – This book explains the user interface and covers Creating a Business and Completing Transactions.
- Introduction to MYOB Workshops.
Would you like to create your own movies with Windows Movie Maker?

Get started with video editing by doing this introductory course on Windows Movie Maker. Use your digital video movie camera/digital camera and your computer’s video editing software to edit your movies to be so exciting and fast-paced they won’t leave your friends yawning! Get tips on filming techniques and how to import video into Windows Movie Maker, editing and adding audio, saving movies and burning them to CD or DVD.

Come and find out how to make the most of your iPad or Tablet. Learn how to download and manage apps, set up your email accounts, use the virtual keyboard, take, manage and edit photos, sync your photos with photostream and organise photos that are sent to you via email.

Have fun learning how to add background colour, luminosity, special effects, text, sketching, textures and much more to your images. Let your imagination go wild and delve into the many features available in Photoshop.
