ITAB Apprenticeship Scholarship Trust
The AST is a trust formed to support Apprentices in times of hardship. This trust is kindly supported by regions of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association and various building partners.
You may be entitled to assistance under the Apprenticeship Scholarship Trust to attend block courses of New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4).

Māori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT)
We are changing the way targeted funding is managed for Māori and Pasifika Trades Training to make it easier for learners to get support. Māori Pasifica Trade Training Tools Grants available for tauira enrolled into the level 3 and 4 carpentry programs with He Toki.
If you’re an applicant who identifies as M¯aori and you are between 16-40 years old, you can apply for the M¯aori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) scholarship for support to study the New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or the New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Level 3) (Carpentry).
