Our Bachelor of Midwifery gives you real-world practice from your first month, working with midwives and women in your community.

After three years, you'll graduate with the knowledge, skills and professional practice to register as a qualified midwife ready to embark on your health and maternity career.

Studying the Bachelor of Midwifery takes passion, determination and commitment, but we'll give you all the support you need to succeed. And with the flexibility of blended delivery it's possible to do most of your study from your home-base so it fits around your family and lifestyle.

PROGRAMMES

Bachelor of Midwifery

  • Dunedin or other
  • Three years full-time (45 weeks per year); part-time option available over four years
  • Level 7
  • Starts February
  • Apply from June 2022 for our 2023 intake

Attain a unique and internationally-renowned qualification which leads to registration as a midwife in New Zealand. Receive a solid theoretical education and gain significant midwifery practice in a range of settings. Study in one of five satellites through blended learning with compulsory block courses in Dunedin or Kapiti.
