2012
Team China: Kurt Hammer, Russell Anderson, Gabrielle Clydesdale-Huch and Hamish McDonnell
This group of students undertook a 6 week placement in Beijing with the Nangong Spring Seasons Hotel working in various roles. All 4 students interacted with staff and taught them English – in return they learnt Mandarin and gained an understanding of their culture. These ambassadors contributed to marketing opportunities that promoted OISA and OP prior to leaving with Vision TV (NZ Chinese channel on Freeview), Channel 9, ODT and Star Midweeker.
