Donya Guyton

2016 Ambassador Award for Massage Therapy programmes

Donya has been very supportive of the other students, and is consistently positive and happy to help others. As the student representative, she has done a good job of keeping the rest of the class in the loop about what’s happening more widely in the Otago Polytechnic community. During her studies, Donya has used her skills to contribute in a range of different contexts. She has provided onsite chair massage to Otago Polytechnic staff throughout most of 2016, and onsite sports massage at various sporting events. She has also coordinated student work with pregnant women, and has been involved in running stress management workshops in association with Spring Into It.
