2016 Ambassador Award for the Graduate Diploma in Applied Science

Jess has excelled this year with a positive attitude to every challenge presented to her. Her work with the Southern Steel team was described by the coaches as “awesome”, with Jess contributing to motivational videos, live statistical analysis courtside, opposition analysis each week and the filming of trainings and games. Hers and the other students’ work was a key factor in Southern Steel’s record breaking season.After the netball season finished she jumped into helping the Otago Rugby team with their Mitre 10 Cup campaign. Again Jess was praised for her hard work and the coaching team found her positive attitude and work ethic outstanding.This commitment has been acknowledged recently, with Jess gaining employment with NZ Cricket before her year had even finished. She will spend here summer working in the Central Districts region as a NZ Cricket Analyst.
