Alumni and Friends Benefits

Registered alumni enrolling for fee-for-service courses or assessments can get a 15% discount.

For example:

• if you've completed an open education resource online and want to be assessed for a qualification
• if you're applying for any self-funded short course
• if you're applying for a qualification two years or more after completing your previous qualification
• if you're applying for any Art night class (before you apply for an art night class, request a discount code from anca@op.ac.nz).

Please note: You won't be able to use your 15% discount and an OP scholarship to reduce your costs. You're very welcome to apply for any of our scholarships but you'll be awarded whichever discount is of higher value -you won't get the alumni discount and a scholarship discount. 

Maintain your fitness through a low-priced gym membership (3, 6 or 12 month options) with the Otago Institute of Sport and Adventure. Use the modern gym, based at the Sargood Centre, Logan Park, Dunedin, where you will also have access to personal trainers.

It may be that you are starting out and could do with some mentoring or an internship opportunity to gain some experience. Email alumni@op.ac.nz and we will endeavour to put you in touch with someone who can help.

On the other hand, you may be already established in business and have a wealth of experience to share. We would value hearing from you if you are willing to share your expertise and perhaps offer an internship or work experience opportunity - email alumni@op.ac.nz if this is the case.
