On Saturday 10 February, the AIC Employability Centre, in alignment with the OPAIC vision of nurturing New Zealand's most employable graduates, leveraged the beautiful campus facility to host an enriching Alumni Mentor Coffee Connect.

Understanding the critical role networking, advice, and practical toolkits play in setting our international learners on the path to career success, we turned to our invaluable Alumni. These mentors walked our students through the intricate landscape of New Zealand's employment sectors and shared their personal journeys and career paths, offering insights and tips to help our learners carve out their own successful professional futures.

The event concluded with a coffee debrief, a moment we hope remains etched in our learners' memories as they navigate their professional pathways in the coming months. It was not just a chat but a journey of learning, sharing, and inspiration aimed at equipping our learners with the knowledge and confidence needed to step into their careers with determination and skill.

OPAIC Employability Centre wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the learners who took the initiative to join us on Saturday, making the most of this opportunity. A special thank you also goes to our dedicated Alumni mentors - Christiaan William, Karl Ipong, Maimiti Manate, Johanna Dong, Anastasia Eremina, and Sanim Pokhrel - who generously invested their time and expertise in our learners, creating a platform for them to envision and strategise their career pathways.
