First Impressions results are in!

In August, new OPAIC students were invited to complete our First Impressions Survey. The survey helps us to see how new learners are settling in, and helps us improve our pre-enrolment processes, student support, facilities and teaching. 

The results of the most recent survey are in, and we are pleased to see that most of our new learners are settling in well.  

• 89 percent of students who attended Orientation said it made them feel welcome and supported.
• 96 percent of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that they have received timely and helpful responses to their questions and concerns. 
• 96 percent of respondents also feel that they can ask for help when they need it. 

Some students have made suggestions for how we can improve our facilities and student activities and clubs on campus. We will be working on this feedback in the coming weeks. 

Congratulations to NZ Diploma in Business student, Taeho Kim, who is the lucky winner of our First Impressions feedback prize draw. He has won a $50 Countdown gift card.
