Challenger's Cup winners share their experiences

The Challenger's Cup 2.0 table tennis tournament was recently held on campus. Organiser Bikramjeet Singh Suman caught up with the three winners to hear about their experiences. Read more below.

First Position: Digvijit Kaul

“More than the thrill of winning the tournament, it has been extremely satisfying to see more members participate, helping our community to grow. I hope to see more people participating in the next tournament and to be consistent with my game. I believe that we should also focus on keeping a Doubles tournament from now on to promote our growth and bonding a bit further than usual.”

Second Position: Subhan Alam

“Participating in the table tennis tournament at Auckland International Campus was a truly rewarding experience. From the moment I stepped into the arena, I felt a mix of excitement and determination. The environment was vibrant, filled with friendly competition and mutual respect among players from diverse backgrounds. Every match challenged my focus, resilience, and technique, pushing me beyond my comfort zone.

Securing second place in the tournament was a moment of pride and personal accomplishment. It wasn’t just about the medal—it symbolized the dedication, discipline, and consistent practice I’ve invested in the sport. Standing among the top players gave me a deeper sense of confidence and reminded me of the power of perseverance.
