Upcoming eduroam maintenance

During the semester break (20 September - 5 October), we’ll be running maintenance on the authentication servers for eduroam.

As a result, some users may need to update their connection settings.

Who doesn't need to take action:

If you set up your eduroam connection after January 2025 using either:

• the eduroam installer from cat.eduroam.org, or
• the geteduroam app,

then you're all set — no changes are needed. You already have the required security certificates installed.

Who does need to take action:

If you:

• have used one of the supported setup methods before January 2025, or
• connected to Eduroam using an unsupported method,

you’ll need to update your connection to ensure it uses the correct security certificates.

This helps protect your login details and ensures a secure connection.

You can update your connection at any time — even when you're off campus. Just follow the instructions here.
