It's been great seeing so much buzz across the campus over the past few weeks, as whānau, friends and stakeholders have enjoyed seeing the creativity, talent and successes of our talented ākonga.
Thanks again to everyone involved in helping to pull these wonderful Student Showcase events together. We've had great positive media coverage around some of our graduates' work and we've been featuring showcase stories across our own promotional channels.
Here's a few of the highlights, including some of our media coverage:
* Debrief (Design) - This event in The Hub celebrates the mahi produced by ouc School of Design graduates, including Fashion, Product, Communication, and our Postgraduate programme.
>> The Star covered the third year projects of two of our students - Janiqua McCarthy’s “female-friendly” fly fishing hip pack, and Liam Black’s sensory space shelter for pre-school neuro-diverse learners. Read more >

* Collections (Fashion) – A large and enthusiastic crowd enjoyed this annual fashion show celebrating the work of our ākonga, including the final collections from our fashion graduates alongside highlights from students in their first and second years of study.

* Art – The SITE exhibition hosted by the Dunedin School of Art showcased our graduates' work across Ceramics, Jewellery, Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Print and Textiles.

* Carpentry - Our Charity House project (now on pause) celebrated 19 years of supporting the community through our Carpentry students, having assisted an impressive 95 community charities over that time. Read more >
We also had a great response and praise from the community for the work showcased across our many other programme events, including detail (Architecture), Engineering Showcase, Information Technology Showcase, and Applied Science.
