IT students work on robotics projects

AIC has made a strong start in the field of Automation and Robotics, an area that works closely with Artificial Intelligence to develop the next generation of intelligent machines. Students are highly engaged in this subject through a predominantly experiential learning approach. The course is supported by the use of Pololu Zumo robots, which are widely recognised within the robotics learning community as an effective educational platform. Through this course, students gain foundational knowledge in electronics, mechanical systems, and software engineering. These interdisciplinary skills are essential for preparing the next generation workforce of New Zealand to contribute to emerging technologies and the rapidly evolving automation industry.
