The Smart Sustainable Development Conference (SSD) is back for 2026, bringing together researchers, academics, industry leaders, innovators, and sustainability practitioners from around the world.
Now in its fourth year, SSD has established itself as a platform for sharing cutting-edge research, exchanging ideas, and exploring how technology can help address some of the world's most pressing environmental and social challenges.
Running as a hybrid event on 26 and 27 November 2026 at Unitec in Auckland, SSD 2026 will welcome both in-person and online participants, creating opportunities for global collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Whether you're looking to present research, showcase an innovative project, connect with industry experts, or promote your organisation, SSD 2026 offers a range of ways to get involved.

The conference is particularly interested in technology-focused research that explores innovative solutions and their impact on advancing sustainable development.
