Matariki reflections and collection of whānau star

Kia ora e te iwi, 

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Matariki events and joined us in acknowledging te tau hou Māori.

On Monday, during karakia, Te Ata Roy, Māori Chaplain, formally closed the Huka Nui Space, marking the conclusion of our Matariki remembrance display, and the stars have now been removed.

If you would like to collect the star bearing the name of a loved one, please visit Te Punaka Ōwheo before Wednesday, 5 August.

We are grateful for the heartfelt contributions that helped make this a meaningful and reflective time for our community.
