Public Lecture by Desmond Emila Makasini
TONIGHT: Mila Makasini will be discussing his Master research, Pacific Indigenous Vernacular and Its Application to Architecture.
The School of Architecture is excited to invite you to this public lecture which explores how ancestral Pacific knowledge of space, weaving, and wayfinding is informing a new generation of culturally grounded architecture.
Mila Makasini is also the 2025 NZIA Student Design Award recipient.
