Block 3 Wraps Up with a West Auckland Trip

Students wrapped up Block 3 with a well-deserved day away from campus, exploring some of West Auckland’s scenery and local wineries.

The trip began with a wine tasting at Soljans Estate Winery, followed by a visit to Muriwai Beach and the Gannet Colony. After enjoying some time at Muriwai and stopping for lunch, students continued to The Hunting Lodge where they had time to relax, socialise and enjoy the surroundings before returning to AIC.

Coming just after final submissions, the trip provided a welcome opportunity for students to unwind, recharge and spend time together outside the classroom. The day was particularly meaningful for those completing their final block, offering them an opportunity to celebrate the end of their studies and create some final memories with friends and classmates.

Beyond the itinerary, the trip was also about connection. It gave students the chance to strengthen friendships, connect with others across the AIC community and experience a little more of what Auckland and New Zealand have to offer.

It was a wonderful way to wrap up Block 3. We hope everyone enjoys the well-earned break, and we look forward to welcoming our students back to campus for another exciting block ahead!
