Beauty students assist with makeup for fundraiser

Fashion at the Grange is in its second year with the event selling out in record time. Funds raised will go to The Louise Davie Charitable Trust - for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Ten local fashion houses/designers, including students from Taieri College showcased collections on the runway.

Ākonga were tasked with applying the finishing touches and half-time touch ups to the model’s makeup for approximately 35 models.

Community events are a great way for our students to be actively involved in the wider Dunedin community, experiencing real life scenarios under supervision of their lecturer, while learning invaluable skills such as professionalism, communication, team work and autonomy, time management and networking.
