Engineering Technologies Student Showcase

A fantastic opportunity to see the skills of students ready to enter the workforce and excite your interest in studying Engineering.

Posters and projects are on display for the public on T Block's main floor from 9am – 5pm from Monday 9 – Thursday 12 of November. Or come along to one of our talks to find out what your future options could like like with the Otago Polytechnic Engineering Technologies team.

Main Showcase

Friday 6 November: 4:30pm – 6:30pm

  • Project Poster Presentation and Awards Evening 
  • Come along to our main showcase where current students will present their work and answer any questions. Industry bodies, including Engineering NZ, will be there, and friends and family are welcome to attend. Key prizes presented, light refreshments supplied. Doors open at 4:30pm with poster presentations from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.

  • Find out about what a career in engineering could look like for you or a young person in your life
  • Walk through the student showcase to see what our students get up to while studying,- Learn about the engineering study options available at Otago Polytechnic (including Diploma, Bachelors and Graduate Diploma pathways) and start getting yourself ready to enroll.
  • Take a tour through the wide variety of teaching facilities we have on offer
  • Interested students of any age, as well as family, caregivers, or career advisors are welcome.
