Learn how to work safely, how to understand the principles of a MIG welder and how to weld different positions. You will also discover how to weld the different types of welds.

About MIG WELDING

  • Deemed a semi-skilled process easier to learn
  • Welds thicker steel components
  • All industry uses MIG so it's a common process
  • Welds stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium
  • Ideal for work at home (e.g. welding trailers, horse floats, garden furniture and gates).Directions

Please note: Due to health and safety requirements in this course, students must have a reasonable level of English language skills. This course is run subject to sufficient numbers.

Materials

All materials for the course are provided. All you need to bring is overalls, safety glasses and steel cap boots.
