Health Bridging Certificate (Level 4) On Campus Students
Dates, Venues and Timetable Info
Official classes for the Health Bridging Certificate in Semester 2 begin on campus on Wednesday 16 July and finish on Friday 21 November 2025.
The programme is delivered flexibly (i.e., using a combination of online and face-to-face learning).
From the first week onwards, your face-to-face tutorial classes that support your at-home study, are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week. You will be grouped into either a morning class (9.00am-1.00pm) or an afternoon class (12.00pm-4.00pm).
If you have a preference for morning or afternoon classes, please email our timetable and group co-ordinator, Christine Beker, directly at Christine.Beker@op.ac.nz and she will try to accommodate you.
You must have your request in to Christine as soon as possible, as places in each group are limited.
Wednesday 16 July
All new Semester 2 students attend an Induction Day from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
An email will be sent out with the location of this session.
Thursday 17 and Friday 18 July
All students follow the Wednesday-Friday timetable for the group they have been allocated to:
Group M or R, 9.00am to 1.00pm (Wed-Fri)
Group A or F, 12.00pm to 4.00pm (Wed-Fri)
Remember, if you have a preference for a morning or afternoon group, please email:
Christine.Beker@op.ac.nz as soon as possible with your request.
Your timetable for these days will be posted on the corridor wall opposite the College of Community Development and Personal Wellbeing (CDP) reception (H618 – 6th floor of H Block), on the noticeboard from Monday 14 July, along with the Group Lists so you can see which group you have been allocated to.
You may also be able to check your timetable on the Student Hub (www.op.ac.nz/hub/) under the Timetable link.
Please note: you will see all four group’s classes on the timetable up until the week before classes when students are split into the four groups, after which you will only see the classes for the particular group you have been allocated to.
