Aim
This course enables tauira to explore contemporary nursing knowledge using evidence that underpins professional nursing practice within a range of health care settings across the lifespan.
Learning Outcomes
At the successful completion of this course, tauira will be able to:
- Analyse ethical, professional, legal and sociopolitical factors relevant to contemporary nursing practice in Aotearoa.
- Discuss the role of research and how it contributes to evidenced-based nursing practice from a local to global perspective.
- Explain research processes, methods and designs that inform and improve people centred health care in a range of settings.
