Our industry links

Gain invaluable hands-on experience through our volunteer tourism programme – while also giving back to the industry in which you will one day be employed. We have excellent relationships with the local and national tourism industry and will ensure you gain plenty of practical experience during your programme.

Our facilities, resources and support

Receive exceptional learning support at every stage of your learning journey. We are here to help you succeed! As a Dunedin-based learner, you’ll enjoy blended delivery (face-to-face teaching in the classroom and online learning). For both programmes, industry fieldtrips – to hotels, local tourism spots and a cruise ship visit – are just a few of the practical learning you can participate in. Certificate students travel to Queenstown (New Zealand’s Adventure Capital) for an extended fieldtrip so they can experience what it’s like to be a “tourist”.
